You’re the bottleneck (and I am too)
Every call goes through you.
Every update runs through your head.
Every question, every delay, every fire—somehow ends up back at your feet.
It’s exhausting. But you keep telling yourself, “That’s just what leadership looks like.”
What if it’s not?
What if the reason your shop, or business, or home is stuck isn’t because of the performance of the people around you—but because the entire system is built around your availability?
If the work can’t move unless you move it, that’s not a leadership problem—it’s a workflow problem.
It doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means your process can’t breathe without you in the room.
You don’t need more hours.
You need a way for people to know what’s next without texting you.
You need visibility, clarity, ownership.
Because delegation without visibility creates anxiety.
But visibility with delegation? That creates peace.
You’re not supposed to be the system.
You’re supposed to lead one.
